The DHS Associates in the greater Putnam area accepted to coordinate a gift collecting campaign throughout the 4 parishes that make up St. Thérèse of Lisieux Parish.

Under the direction of Associate and long time parishioner at St. Mary of the Visitation in Putnam Linda Lamoureux, the volunteer group went from parish to parish to collect gifts and donations that they contributed to TEEG to assist families and individuals in need in the area. They also delivered diapers and wipes to the local Diaper Bank and gift cards to Daily Bread. Now they are already starting to think about next year’s program.

On December 16th several Associates from the area packed their cars with gifts and snack treats and headed to St. Joseph Living Center in Windham to bring the Christmas spirit to the Sisters in residence there.

The photos speak clearly of the many gifts and goodies that were offered as well as of the fun spirit that filled hearts and a very large meeting room.

The DHS in residence expressed their joy at having the Associates with them for an afternoon of smiles, stories, cheer and lots of good food. They unanimously invite the Associates to come back soon to spoil them.
