What better way to spend an early autumn afternoon than to take a walk down history lane with Sheryl Faye, impersonator of historical women whose contributions to the world have often and for a long time gone unnoticed.
Abigail Adams was invited to our DHS Center to entertain, to educate and to raise funds for the Associate Branch of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit on the east coast. The monies are used to fund various programs sponsored by the Associates throughout the year to assist the Sisters and to reach out to those in need in the local area. Lorena Dutelle, Associate member from South Windsor, CT, was effective in soliciting the sponsorship of the Catholic Financial Life Insurance Company that contributed $750.00 to the Associates. An onsite raffle also yielded funds for the Associate effort. Huge thanks to all who participated in this enriching community event and the hope of the Associates is that they will see you all and many others in attendance next year.
