On Sunday, June 2nd, the US Province of the Daughters of the Holy Spirit was invited to gather at St. Joseph Church in Willimantic, Ct to honor Sisters and Associates who were celebrated for a total of 380 years of service to the congregation and to God’s people.

The honorees started their day with a late morning corsage pinning ceremony followed by a luncheon and the Jubilee Liturgy at 2 p.m. with the Most Reverend Michael Coté Bishop of Norwich Diocese, celebrating and the Very Reverend Laurence LaPointe as co-celebrant and homilist.

The liturgy included the renewal of vows and covenants by the jubilarians and the musical accompaniment by cantor Annette Pavone and organist Tom Gouin.

The Mass was followed by a delightful and delicious reception where family and friends exchanged congratulations, hugs and stories into late afternoon.

Congratulations to all our Jubilarians. May the Spirit of Love, Service and Gratitude shine upon you always!
