MISSION STATEMENT
Our choices for Mission and the way in which we live these out are always inspired by our corporate DHS mission statement:
Rooted in a vital Trinitarian spirituality, we are called, like Mary to reverence in a special way the presence and power of the Holy Spirit in ourselves, in others and in all creation. Living in the Spirit of Pentecost, we continue the mission of the Risen Christ through our simple presence, humble gestures and collaborative efforts. Together we are sent forth in Gospel boldness to witness God’s tender love for all, especially the least favored, “that all may have life and have it to the full.”
Our Mission is fulfilled particularly through our active and creative collaboration with church and civic groups and associations whose purposes are essentially the same as ours. Members of our DHS Spiritual Family may be found ministering in such fields as::
