The Spirit of Transformation was at work again on the first Sunday of June as 16 Daughters of the Holy Spirit were joined by friends, family and clergy to praise God together for the 955 years of service as religious, consecrated seculars, associates.
The festive liturgy, celebrated by Bishop Michael Coté, DD with homilist the Very Reverend Laurence LaPointe, took place at St. Joseph Church in Willimantic, CT.
The Mass was followed by a warm and welcoming reception in the church hall where honorees and guests rejoiced in the blessed event, relaxed and shared fine dining and even better companionship and love. Stories were exchanged and memories were carved into minds and hearts of one and all. This indeed was the day the Lord had made and our Jubilarians clearly repeated their ‘Joyous Thanks’ to their God and to all who made this day possible.
