We recall that Lent affords us an annual opportunity to STOP and THINK, and REFLECT on our commitment to LIVE Christ 24/7 as we go through our daily activities and obligations.
Our daily performance evaluations have not always been easy, although quite simple in their format. The key question has been: How did I LIVE Christ today? Give concrete examples.
Now our efforts all come together, and we get a firsthand look at the results. Are we pleased? What else is left to do? How do I plan to do it? Does my overall goal include God, others and myself? Do I have a better grasp of the real meaning of TRANSFORMATION and CONVERSION in my daily life that allows me to experience suffering, mini and major deaths, resurrection, joy and peace that only the Spirit of God can give?
He is risen, alleluia…He is truly risen, allelu, alleluia!!!
Are we ready to rise with him and to don the person of Christ and to accept his invitation to do unto others as he does for us each moment of every new day? Are we ready to be the hands of Christ, eyes of Christ, ears of Christ, feet of Christ and to use them for good and for love? If our Lenten process has helped us at all, we should indeed say that at least we will try our best and place our trust in our Christ who promised time and time again that LIFE in all its ramifications, belongs to those who believe and consistently put their faith into actions.
I am the Resurrection and the Life; those who believe in me shall have life eternal (Jn. 11:25-26)
A JOYFUL AND BLESSED EASTER TO ONE AND ALL!
