Sr Jeannine Légère, DHS is scheduled to depart for France on October 31st to assume her new role as member of the Congregation’s General Council. She will be serving a six year mandate in this position.
An ‘au revoir’ breakfast of Belgian waffles and quiche was held at the DHS Center in Putnam on Monday, October 18. Chief cooks and bottle washers were Sisters Gertrude and Janet. A lovely fallish October morn enhanced the atmosphere for this simple yet meaningful gathering that offered all in attendance the opportunity to once again congratulate and thank Jeannine for her service and to wish her the best possible for her upcoming travels and for her new work.
